Vision: NDWA envisages empowered disabled women who is educated, socially secured, economically productive, politically bewared and happily living with her family in a barrier free environment. Mission: # In order to get involved equally to every type of disabled women in the all development activities, organize advocacy, bridge with different sectors and elevate relation with efficient personalities. # With the help of the activities like social mobilization or effciency development, we ensure the meaningful envolvement. # To strengthen the organization, membership distribution, sustainable income sources or utlization of human resources and goods will be accomplished. Target group: · All women disabilities and their family members are accrue of their rights related to disabilities. · All women with disabilities are facilitated to seek opportunities to live in a better environment in their society on the basis of equity. |
Main activities: · To help uplift disabled women groups through creating environment for the job opportunities to the women with disabilities. · To provide knowledge skill and concept for disabled women in leadership promotion, decision process, selfconfidence, expressive capability, talk and conversation and empowerment to extend impersonal relationship. · To rise awareness in society and facilities talk women with disabilities to seek opportunities on the basis of equity. · Organize seminar, training and interaction programmes to co-ordinate activities between central and district level and participate in them. · Advocate to ensure the reach in the sectors of education, health, sports, employment and social security and health service · Create awareness among disabled women regarding possible services they can get help them to get. · Lunch programmes for disabled women in systematic way to be participant in politics, social, economical protection and so on. · To collect statistic of disabled women identify the true situation and make it up to date |

Main problems:
It is true and reality the disable woman are basically back in our society. Its true human beings are born free and equal in dignity and a Person With Disabilities must have the right to live happily an respect fully in the society. Woman and girls with disabilities in every community, whether, urban or rural area. In our Nepal woman are triple discrimination in the society, from being female, disable woman and poverty. They are not equal in the society. Thus woman with disabilities are among the most of the isolated marginalized, gender discrimination and poorest of people. The society and family are not aware and responsible about the disable woman right and their protection. Specially, the disable woman. are neglected and hate from the family and society. Each and Every sector has been affected by the rooted negative attitude. # Lack of Education, training & access. # Lack of awareness # Unclear Act/low and lack of implementation # Less committed social organizations # Not recognized the problems at the national level
